Introduction and specifications
The Asim MFDC resistance welding machine uses a medium-frequency inverter controller to supply and precisely control direct welding current. It is built as a pedestal or bench machine for spot (press) welding and seam welding, in several power ratings.
The controller manages squeeze, weld and hold times, pre-heat and post-heat, current upslope/downslope and a separate weld program for each part.
To choose the right type and power, send our engineers the material and thickness of the part, the joint type and the number of welds per minute. The technology, a comparison with AC machines and an FAQ are on the MFDC resistance welding page.
